A limited edition boot made in tribute to Ray Jones of Lampasas, Texas.
Ray Jones built boots in Lampasas for decades and is still regarded by collectors as one of the finest bootmakers Texas has produced. His boots were made for working cowboys: plain in appearance, exacting in construction, and built to outlast the men who wore them.
Zephan Parker learned the craft in Lampasas under John Jass, whose brother Pablo apprenticed under Jones and carried his tradition forward. The Ray Jones Boot is made in that lineage, by hand, in Houston, Texas.
It stands on a 12-inch top, a 1½-inch Western walking heel, and a snip toe.
Ten pairs will be made across all sizes. Once they are sold, the boot will be retired.
