Full quill ostrich and hand-tooled calfskin, made in Houston, Texas.
Named for the prickly pear in spring bloom, the boot takes its color from West Texas after the rains. The vamps are sage full quill ostrich, the most recognizable of the exotic leathers, with the raised quill pattern that gives the hide its texture and its softness. The tops are vegetable-tanned calfskin, tooled by hand in a floral pattern, flower by flower.
A 12-inch top, a 1½-inch Western walking heel, and a snip toe.
